Continuing Education students of all ages come to Keene State College for many reasons such as personal enrichment and job enhancement, to prepare for a career change, or to begin taking courses towards a degree program. Many who begin taking courses through the Continuing Education Office later apply for admission and ultimately complete a college degree. Others take courses as changes in the economy and workplace require, or when an offering piques their interest. KSC grants enrollment in courses to all students who hold a high school diploma or equivalent (or bachelor's degree in the case of graduate level courses) and who have demonstrated successful academic performance. The College reserves the right to reject or withdraw a student who, upon request, fails to provide proper documentation of these requirements or who demonstrates unacceptable performance once enrolled. In addition to coordinating educational opportunities on campus, the Continuing Education office works closely with regional business and industry, private and public agencies, and school districts to deliver learning opportunities specific to the needs of the workforce. If you have any questions about part-time study or workforce training, please contact us.
