For Parents & Guardians
As a parent of a Keene State student, you are part of a wonderful community. Having a son or daughter go away to college for the first time can be a big transition for both student and parents.
The staff here at Keene State College works hard to make sure your son or daughter has a wonderful and productive experience and we invite parents to become involved with campus life.
To help you all succeed, please browse the links on the right-hand side of this page as a guide to resources.
Parent Information sessions
On August 20, move in day, we’d like one more opportunity to welcome you as a member of our extended KSC community and to answer any last minute questions you may have. Parents and guardians of new first-year and new transfer students are invited to attend one of our two Parent Information sessions. Presenters include Dr. Anne Huot, the president of KSC, the Keene city Mayor, the director of Parent Relations, and others who will cover information about advising, safety, health services and more. For the last 30 minutes of this program, representatives from key student service offices will be available to speak with parents individually about questions or concerns. Please join us!
The Parent/Family Information sessions are offered on August 20 from 10:30-noon and repeated again at 1:30-3:00 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Mabel Brown Room on the second floor of the Student Center.
