This science-based focus gets you in our state-of-the-art lab to examine the techniques that help draw connections in the detection of crime. 

If this turns out to be your passion, we offer multiple elective courses in forensics and encourage you to combine CJS with biology or chemistry. 

As the first and only college in the nation with an undergraduate program in Holocaust and Genocide Studies, Criminal Justice students gain an incredible unique perspective on how humans commit this level of violence.  

Studying how and why these events happen, you can take your knowledge on to governmental and non-governmental organizations active in the fields of international law, peacekeeping, and world-wide justice.   

Why do individuals and groups of people behave the way they do? Studying the interconnected fields of criminal justice and sociology can bring answers to this question and open professional doors in social and human services professions.  

You can even enhance this degree with studies in addictions via our public health courses or psychology for a path in counseling professions. We’re all about tailor-made degrees for next-level thinkers.
