Student Center Information Desk Staff
The concierge desk to the Campus. Welcomes students and community members to the facility
and assist in the day to day aspects of running the building and keeping people informed. Shift
hours: M-F 8:00AM-12:00PM, Sa 8:00AM-12:00PM,Su 10:00AM-12:00PM. Info desk staff also works as Set-up crew.
Building Managers
Building managers are the lead student staff position in the Student Center. The manager is in charge of all building operations in the evening and on weekends. Duties include customer relations with groups and individuals using the facility for meetings, events or just hanging out. The managers are responsible for opening and closing the building on weekends. Previous experience working in the student center is required. Shift hours: M-F 3:30pm-12:00M, Sa-Su 10:00am-12:00M.
Tech Crew
The Tech Staff is responsible for supporting the audio-visual requirements of the events that occur in and around the Student Center. Applicants must have some prior experience with sound and/or light boards and systems.
Administrative Office Staff
Responsible for assisting students, faculty and staff with general Student Center information and room scheduling inquiries. Duties will include answering phones, word processing, and general office support for Student Center staff. Administrative staff will also work as event set up crew. Office hours are Monday- Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm
Night Owl Staff and Game Room Staff
The Night Owl staff serves popcorn & soda, runs the cash register for lunch and even helps with some of the programming. The Game Room Staff attends to the game room. Hours: M -F 9-11:30pm, weekend hours a must, and various other times for special events.
Graphic Design Assistants
Designers create posters, flyers, newsletters, logos, etc. for Student Center programs. Assistants work on the Night Owl Design Team or for the Administrative office.
Community Service Office Assistants
Assist in office and program support for the Coordinator of Community Service. Answering phones, word processing and being an excellent gatherer of information are just a few parts of this job. Office hours: 8am-4:30pm.
Community Service Work Study
Students can use their work study to work at non-profit community service agencies in the Keene area. Participating agencies include Big Brothers Big Sisters and Many Options.
KSC Reads
Students are responsible for tutoring children about 5 hours a week at agencies off-campus.
