The Student Center offers numerous facilities for studying, meeting and lounging. Most of the Student Center facilities are available when the Student Center is open.
Academic Year Hours Abbreviated Summer Hours Facility Guidelines The Information Desk The Information Desk staff will assist in answering any questions you may have. There are several common user computers available for short use internet and e-mail checks at the Info Desk as well as in other open locations on the first floor. A common use telephone is also available. The desk staff will also assist with room preparations, atrium displays and technical equipment for use in the student center. Equipment for the student center is reserved online at http://www.keene.edu/it/helpdesk/stucmediareq_form.cfm The Food Dining Court The "Bean and Bagel" and "Lloyd's Marketplace" offer a wide variety of foods as an option to the Zorn Dining Commons. You can pick up coffee, soft drinks, bagels, roll ups, grill food, pizzas and sandwiches and use your Flex to make purchases at all times. The Night Owl Café
is a multi-purpose eating and entertaining establishment on the second floor of the Student Center. Monday through Friday from 11am - 2 pm students have the opportunity to use their meal plan for lunch. The Night Owl serves "NOC Sizzlers" made to order with soup or salad, chips and a pickle. Students may swip a weekly meal, use Flex Cash, Keene Cash or pay cash for their lunch. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Study Lounges On the first floor there are many "casual study spaces" in the dining areas as well as a lounge next to the entrance by the ATM machine. There is also a designated quiet study lounge on the third floor adjacent to the Mountain View Room. There are also several other nooks on other floors away from the main flow of traffic that are suitable for study. The Madison Street Lounge provides a space to have lunch, talk or to schedule a meeting. The room will seat up to 80. Call the Scheduling Office at 603-358-2323 to reserve. Mabel Brown Room - Equipped with its own stage, sound & lighting systems, this space is designed to meet a broad range of needs, including banquets up to 325 people, lectures, films and other events up to 700 people, or even dances with live music. Meeting Rooms 307, 308 & 309 - These conference spaces, located in close proximity to the Mabel Brown Room, serve general campus needs, with seating capacities from 12 to 60. Mountain View Room Room 303 - With a beautiful view of the hills surrounding Keene, this special function room provides a space for catered events, receptions, or meetings. Room will seat approximately 50. Call the Scheduling Office at 603-358-2323 to reserve. The Game Room is located on the second floor of the Student Center and provides several activities and games. There are 2 pool tbles, an air hockey table, foosball, ping pong, board games, XBOX, and DirecTV. Join in one of our tournaments by stopping by the Game Room and signing up to play. All games are free to KSC students. Hours of Operation The Equinox, Kronicle and WKNH Radio - Offices for The Equinox, Keene State's student newspaper, and student-run WNKH Radio are designed to allow the student media to keep the campus informed.
