The Science Center has been renovated to befit the grant-winning research of KSC science faculty and students: State-of-the-art classrooms and labs promote hands-on, interdisciplinary science. The building surrounds a courtyard landscaped with the region's plant zones and a walkway depicting our geologic history. Instruments will record groundwater levels, underground seismic shifts, and local weather and display them on a computer in the lobby. The building opened in August.
