Professor Allen has expertise applying principles of physics, chemistry and earth system science to geological and environmental issues, including such issues as water resources. He is a licensed Professional Geologist in the State of New Hampshire. Most recently, he has been working with students to assess lead contamination of soils and river sediments in Keene.
