Dining with a Plan

The Requisite Meal Plan for residents of Carle, Fiske, Holloway, Huntress, all Mini-Houses, Monadnock, One Butler Court, Owls Nests, Pondside 1, Pondside 3 and Randall is the Platinum Meal Plan. All questions regarding meal plans should be directed to the Owl Card Office in the Dining Commons at (603) 358-2673.

Dining on campus isn't only about the food-it's also about convenience, new experiences, friends, and fun. In addition to a variety of daily dining options, your meal plan is also your ticket to special dining events like Localvore Lunch and Global Chef. There are many ways to use your Meal Plan to fit your schedule and tastes.

Plan meals may be used at the Zorn Dining Commons, Hoot 'n' Scoot, and Night Owl Café. All of our dining locations accept Cash, Credit Cards, Owl Cash, Dining Dollars and Meal Plan Dollars.

Zorn Dining Commons

The Zorn Dining Commons is a modern, light-filled, dine-in, "all you care to eat" facility. Once you enter "The DC" you'll find seven permanent service stations offering a myriad of choices from pizza to full course meals, deli and stir-fry, soups, salads and a grille, plus a vegan station, and a gluten-free area.

There are many seating options that allow you to comfortably sit with a group or on your own. WiFi is available in the DC so you can stay a while and catch up online.

The Hoot 'n' Scoot

The Hoot 'n' Scoot is a Meals-to-Go dining option. Here you can "Pick 4" items to make up a plan meal. The Hoot is ideal for those days when you have a late class, will be off-campus for the day, or if you just want to have "something for later" in your fridge.

The Night Owl Café

The Night Owl Café is located on the 2nd floor of the L.P. Young Student Center. During the week you can use a plan meal or Meals-to-Go to get the famous "NOC Sizzler" made especially for you between 11am and 2pm. The NOC Sizzler comes complete with chips and soda to make it a meal.

Dining Options in the Student Center…

Lloyd's Marketplace and the Bean & Bagel Express open early and stay open long after the DC and Hoot are closed. Use your Meal Plan Dollars, Owl Cash and Dining Dollars for made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, fries, cheese sticks, quesadillas and more-just the way you like 'em. Short on time? There's a great selection of 'Simply To Go' items from house-baked pastries to sandwiches, salads, snacks, and fresh fruit. Delicious Green Mountain coffee is always hot and ready for you- ice cold beverages, too.

Meal Plan Dollars

Students on a Plus meal plan can use their Meal Plan Dollars to purchase snacks, drinks, etc. at the Bean & Bagel and Lloyd's Marketplace (Meal Plan Dollars may also be used to purchase meals at the Dining Commons, Night Owl Cafe, and the Hoot 'n Scoot). Plus meal plans begin with $175 or $275 in Meal Plan Dollars.

Dining Dollars and Owl Cash

Individuals who are not on a meal plan but who would like to eat at ANY of our dining locations may use the Dining Dollars or Owl Cash options. Use your OwlCard to spend your Dining Dollars or Owl Cash. Owl Cash is also accepted at 25+ campus vending machines and athletic concessions. Deposits can be made online.
