I wanted to send a SHOUT OUT and Thank You to both Kate McGrath-Townsend and Matt Kimber in the Accounts Payable Office. At the end of any fiscal year I’m sure they get inundated with requests for things to be turned around last minute and yet their response to me every time is friendly, quick, and helpful. They are so knowledgeable and I appreciate their help!

The SRC would like to offer a Shout Out to a member of our newest partner on campus, Drew Nichols from the B&N Bookstore. The SRC needed Drew’s assistance as soon as he arrived on campus to assist us in ordering and delivering our 30 year milestone chairs as gifts. Drew’s timeline was short yet he was able to get the orders placed in FY17, and the chairs are on their way to their recipients. Drew was even able to hand deliver a chair to Kim Harkness in the Provost’s Office. Thank you Drew for your attention, professionalism and responsiveness, we appreciate it!

I would like to recognize Laurie Alden for her calm reliability in the face of continuous change. She consistently manages the Advancement Division from soup to nuts – welcoming new staff, answering a multitude of questions, managing the Alumni Center (along with her own workload) while maintaining a strategic perspective with integrity and a smile! From my first day at KSC, Laurie has been a wonderful resource, knowledgeable colleague and friend. Thank you Laurie, for everything you do!
