Former Keene State Exchange Student Wins BAFTA

From Steve Spiegel, Global Education Office:

Every semester the Global Education Office helps host a number of exchange students from our partner institutions around the world for a semester or year exchange. In the fall semester of 2006, KSC hosted Jonathan Green who was a film major from York St John University in England.

Jonathan has just won an impressive award as the BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Winning Producer for Best Children’s Drama 2016 for Refugee. A big impact for Jonathan was his semester at KSC, the people he met and the faculty he worked with. Both Ted White and David Gonthier in the Film Department worked closely with him and are still in contact.

Jonathan comments: “I loved it at Keene, such a beautiful place at such a picturesque time of the year. I’m still in touch with a handful of people out of the film class from Keene.”
