Colleague Recognition

I am sorry this is a few days over two weeks, but the individual I feel deserves the golden owl next was on much needed vacation. I am pleased to pass the Golden Owl onto Liz Craighead (Physical Plant). Liz is an asset not only to the TDS building, but all over campus with her willingness to pitch in and go over and above on all of our timely and not-so-timely event set-up requests. Liz is always full of smiles and positive energy and amazing to work with. I want to thank her for always being here to find the chairs, set up the tables or just help me move furniture around. Liz is really an asset to KSC.

And from Sage Ober, RD in Holloway Hall:

I have passed along the Golden Owl to Mona Anderson in the Counseling Center. While Mona has a lot of different responsibilities, one of the specific things she does is serve as the liaison from the Counseling Center to the Residence Directors. In my two years at Keene State College, Mona has always worked to support the Residence Directors in a multitude of ways and I want her to know that it does not go unnoticed! Mona’s calm demeanor, warm personality, and caring nature have helped me in my current role personally and when I am working to help students through difficult situations. I know that Mona will always help me with small questions all the way to large concerns. It means a lot to know that someone cares so much about the wellbeing of staff and students on this campus. I am very thankful for getting the chance to work with Mona and for all of the work that she does!
