Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow Named Outstanding Emerging Organization

The Keene State Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) organization traveled to Bentley University in February to attend the CASE ASAP District One Conference with their advisor, Bethany Morin, Alumni and Constituent Engagement. CASE ASAP comprises student alumni associations, student foundations and similar organizations at more than 300 CASE member institutions.

Over 200 students from 12 schools presented in sessions about how they function as student organizations. Two of our STAT students presented a session on the unique relationship between the Alumni Board and STAT – it is not common to have a student sit on the alumni board, and for the board to be as invested in the future alumni, as happens at Keene State.

Keene State’s STAT received the Outstanding Emerging Organization Award. This award is presented to a CASE ASAP organization that develops membership with strong internal programs, and enhances the field of advancement through reputable external programs, effective engagement with university constituents, prosperous philanthropic efforts, and/or notable outreach to prospective students.
