Keene State Concert Choir to Perform December 10

The Keene State College Music Department proudly presents its Concert Choir, directed by Diane Cushing, in a concert on Friday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m., in the Alumni Recital Hall, Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond.

The Concert Choir will feature Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and the world premiere of Christmas Greetings by KSC faculty composer Ted Mann. The program will conclude with unique arrangements of “Deck the Halls” and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”

KSC faculty member Scott White will provide keyboard accompaniment. The choir will also be joined by guest artist Katie-Lyn Pingree (harp) and KSC faculty members Sussan Henkel (oboe) and Christopher Swist (vibraphone). Britten’s monumental Ceremony of Carols will feature vocal solos and duets by KSC students Colleen Durken, Nicole Laperriere, Jessica Mahoney, and Amy St. Louis.

Admission is $10 for the general public and $5 for KSC students, senior citizens, and youth ages 17 and under. KSC faculty and staff are entitled to receive one free complimentary ticket for this event. Tickets will be available at the door, or call the box office at 603-358-2168.
