Coming from the Music Department: Symphonic Classics December 1

The Music Department presents a concert of the KSC Orchestra, directed by Don Baldini, on Wednesday, December 1, at 7:30 p.m., in the Main Theatre, Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond.

The program features symphonic classics from the Classical and Romantic periods of music history, including Beethoven’s Overture to Fidelio, Saint-Saëns’s Dance Macabre and Carnival of the Animals, Ravel’s haunting Pavane for a Dead Princess, Smetana’s picturesque The Moldau, Holst’s Christmas Day, and Verdi’s “Hymn and Triumphal March” from Aida.

Admission is $10 for the general public and $5 for KSC students, senior citizens, and youth ages 17 and under. KSC faculty and staff are entitled to one free complimentary ticket for this event. Tickets will be available at the door, or call the box office at 603-358-2168.
