Dr. Karen Stanish was recently elected to serve as vice-chair of the Northeastern Section of the Mathematical Association of America. She will serve as vice-chair from November 2010-November 2011 and then will take over as chair from November 2011-November 2013.

Mel Netzhammer and Andy Robinson were invited presenters on November 12 at the Senior Student Affairs Officer Symposium, sponsored by the America College Personnel Association (ACPA) in Washington, DC. The symposium topic was “High Impact Educational Practices: Fostering Strong Partnerships between Student Affairs and Academic Affairs.”
