NHASTA String Day Comes to Keene

From Maura Glennon, Music:

On October 30, 2010, seventy violin, viola, cello and bass students from high schools all over New Hampshire will come to the campus of Keene State College. This is the second time this event has taken place and we are honored that the New Hampshire chapter of The American String Teachers Association has chosen Keene State College as its location for 2010.

While on campus, the students will work with Professor Don Baldini, conductor of the Keene State College Chamber Orchestra, and Marcia Lehninger, professor of violin. In the afternoon, the Keene State Orchestra will join the high school students and their teachers in a concert that is open to the public.

If you have any questions about this event please call the Music Department at Keene State College, 603-358-2177.
