United Way off to a Great Start

From the United Way committee:

As of Oct. 13, the KSC United Way committee reports that Keene State has achieved 12 percent participation from faculty and staff, with $15,486 pledged so far to help support 50 nonprofit agencies in the Monadnock region. Thank you to everyone who has returned pledge forms. Remember, it can be as easy as $2 a week through payroll deduction.

If you have lost track of your pledge form, give Melissa Laughner a call at 8-2865 and she will happily send you a replacement. Our goal for 2010 is 30 percent participation and $30,000, so we are well on our way. Please return your pledge forms to Melissa at MS 1603. For those who are able to give at the Leadership level ($500 or more per year), please return your forms to Karen House, also at MS 1603. Thank you for your generosity – every gift truly makes a difference, and the money goes right to work here in the Monadnock region.

All staff and faculty are invited to enjoy coffee and pastries on Friday in the Atrium Conference Room in the Student Center from 10 to 10:45 a.m., and to participate in the raffle for prizes, fame, and fortune (or at least, prizes).
