Dr. Jose Manuel Lezcano (Professor of Music) performed a solo guitar recital in Washington, D.C, Sept. 17, at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Joel Auditorium, as part of the Center’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Jose performed works by Spanish and Latin American composers, including his own suite for solo guitar, “From Havana to Miami.” The Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) is the United States Army’s flagship medical center; it serves more than 150,000 active and retired personnel from all branches of the military.
