Homecoming Weekend October 1-2

From Sara Telfer, Alumni and Parent Relations:

KSC Homecoming Weekend is back, and it’s Friday and Saturday, October 1–2.

The weekend starts off Friday night with the world premiere of Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve: The First Hundred Yearsof Keene State College, a film by Larry Benaquist and Lance Levesque. It will be shown at the Colonial Theatre in downtown Keene. We recommend reservations for this big event, so call the RSVP hotline at 603-358-2300 to make yours.

At 9 p.m., there will be a comedy show at the Night Owl Café. This will for sure be a sellout, so get there early for a good seat! You’ll need a student ID or alumni ID to get in.

Some of Saturday’s highlights include a Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Invitational at 11 a.m., the grand opening of the Archives and Special Collections Room in the Mason Library from 2–3, and affinity gatherings throughout the day.

There will be lots of fun at the Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon, starting at 2 with an alumni soccer game. At 4, join in the tailgate and pre-game festivities before the KSC men’s soccer team takes on RIC at 6. Stick around the Complex after the game to watch us light up the sky! What big celebration would be complete without fireworks?
