Update to Library festivities

You will not want to miss this Grand Opening!

Mason Library will be announcing the acquisition of a major new collection at the October 2nd Grand Opening of the Archives and Special Collections Room. The heirs of the author will honor us with a reading. The festivities commence at 2 p.m. on the first floor, west wing.

Due to ill health, Patricia Fargnoli will not be able to read at this ceremony as was previously announced. Our own PeggyRae Johnson will perform a reading of selected Fargnoli poetry. In March 2010, Fargnoli donated her entire body of work, which encompasses her papers with original manuscripts and publications where her poetry appeared.

Join us as we celebrate our new space, enjoy readings from our collections, and honor our heritage.
