Coming to the Redfern: Macbeth

For the second year, the Keene State College Theatre and Dance Department welcomes the Castle Theatre Company at Durham University in England, which will perform Shakespeare’s Macbeth on Sunday, September 12, at 7:30 pm. in the Main Theatre of the Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond.

The Castle Theatre Company returns to U.S. colleges and high schools this fall to perform a highly physical, dynamic, and visual production of William Shakespeare’s greatest revenge tragedy. The company will also conduct workshops on Saturday, September 11, for KSC students to work on scenes from Macbeth side-by-side with the cast.

Northern Stage, a professional theatre company in White River Junction, Vermont, is coordinating the Castle Theatre Company’s three-week American tour of Macbeth to colleges and high schools throughout September.
