Blackboard 9.1 tips and training

From Jenny Darrow, Academic Technology:

While it’s hard to believe that the start of the academic year is only a few short weeks away, we wanted to take a moment and share some Blackboard 9.1 tips that will help you as you begin to upload content to your course.

When you first log in to your course, you’re going to notice that the interface looks different but once you get acclimated we think you’ll appreciate the improvements. Here are a few key pointers to help you get started before you begin building your course.

  • You will find instructions on how to copy content from an old course into a current course here: http://bit.ly/aCXJv6

  • You will find a host of tools in the “Tools” navigation menu including, “send email,” “groups,” “user guide,” and more.

  • Our growing library of Blackboard “how-to” documentation is located here: http://keeneweb.org/at/blackboard
Our growing workshop/event schedule has already kicked off, but don’t worry; we have a number of upcoming opportunities. Here is a taste of what we will be offering but for a full schedule visit the CELT calendar located here: http://bit.ly/8NNLN3
