Diversity discussions
The Campus Commission for Diversity and Multiculturalism is excited to host a summer “sharing series” at noon on Wednesdays. Please join us if you’re interested in engaging in discussions about topics of diversity and multiculturalism that are meaningful to you, Wednesdays at noon in the Northwest Dining Room of the Student Center (that’s the room with lunch tables that isn’t the Lantern Room).
Please bring:
- Your lunch
- Something to share with the group. This could be something you read online, news articles, fiction, poetry, scholarly articles … Shoot for short-ish and diversity- or multiculturalism-related. Bring copies or — better still — be ready to read aloud.
- An open mind, ready for respectful discussion
The plan is to do these every Wednesday this summer, understanding that the group will change as people’s availability changes. Come for just one or come for them all; all members of the campus community and their guests are welcome.
