From Rodger Martin, Journalism:

The Milton Ensemble will be providing a dramatic reading of Book VII “The Creation” from Paradise Lost on Thursday, April 8, at 7 p.m. in the broadcast studio of the Media Arts Center. This will be the recording of the tenth book in The Milton Ensemble’s goal of recording all twelve books for oral presentation. Seating for the live DVD recording production within the broadcast studio is limited. Please e-mail rmartin1@keene.edu should you wish to reserve a seat inside the broadcast studio.

On Thursday, April 1, at 7 p.m., a panel discussion about the dramatic-reading approach to Book VII will also be recorded in the broadcast studio with Milton Ensemble director Rodger Martin, Holy Cross scholar Eugene McCarthy, composer Michael Wakefield, singer-songwriter Terry Landis, and moderator Elizabeth Hatch.

The event is sponsored by The School of Arts and Humanities, the English Department, the Department of Communication, Journalism, and Philosophy, the Mason Library, and The Worcester County Poetry Association.
