JobWISE, KSC’s Career Resource
JobWISE, KSC’s career website, is an excellent resource for KSC alumni seeking valuable career information and opportunities. The site offers an extensive listing of full-time and part-time job opportunities as well as a comprehensive Career Resource Library. Hundreds of employment opportunities are listed along with guidance on resume writing, sample resumes, cover letters, and access to additional employment search engines.
JobWISE underwent a significant transformation over the summer of 2014 when we partnered with CSO, Career Services Online. This new system, implemented during the 2014–2015 academic year, is more robust, faster, and has greater capacity for members of the KSC community to search for career opportunities. Its presence has grown from coast to coast as well as with international organizations that utilize the resource to recruit KSC students and alumni.
Alumni can create a profile and can choose to share it with employers. You can apply to positions directly through JobWISE and download resumes, cover letters, and other required materials. Alumni can easily search for a job by profession, location, experience, part-time, full-time, etc. Businesses can search for qualified alumni as well. Career events are also listed such as upcoming career fairs, career panel presentations, and business speakers.
Alumni are invited to register for the upcoming Career and Internship Fair sponsored by Academic and Career Advising. Eighty employers are registered for the upcoming event, which will take place on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 2:30–5 p.m. in the Spaulding Gym. Registration is on JobWISE, along with the directory of participating employers.
