Resman, Bartlett Heading For NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

Junior swimmers Shahar Resman and Allison Barlett, as well as the men’s 800 freestyle relay have qualified for the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships held at the CISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas, from March 18-21.

Resman, who has already picked up five All-American awards in his career, qualified as part of the 800 free relay, as well as individually in the 200 free, 500 free, and 1,650 free. The other 800 freestyle relay qualifiers are sophomore Ryan Boraski, freshman Christopher DiGiacomo, and junior Cole Hogg.

Resman a native of Ashdod, Israel, has the third fastest time in the 1,650 free in 15:23.81, the fourth best time in the country in 500 free at 4:26.33, and the 11th best time in the 200 free in 1:39.33.

The 800 free relay has the 10th best time nationally at 6:43.12.

Bartlett, of Exeter, N.H., qualified in the 50 freestyle. She becomes the first KSC female swimmer to reach the NCAA Championships since Jillian Whitaker in 2012. Her time of 23.39 is the 11th best time in NCAA Division III.
