KSC Continuing Ed Offers Professional Development Classes
KEENE, N.H., 01/09/08 - Noncredit courses for professional development and enrichment are among hundreds of courses offered this spring through Keene State College Continuing Education.
Registration runs now through January 16. Registration for short courses continues all semester as new courses are offered continually. Spring classes begin January 22.
Among courses focusing on professional enrichment are courses on customer service, creating newsletters, designing effective presentations, elements of leadership, essentials in human resources, and grant writing.
Other courses focus on Microsoft’s suite of software. Contemporary Chinese Language and Culture is geared to giving students the ability to communicate in Chinese at a basic level for travel or business purposes.
Students interested in online learning have two options. Continuing Education’s Ed2Go program offers online noncredit courses in 30 different areas. Courses are six weeks long and start once a month. Information is available at www.ed2go.com/keene.
A certificate program in 47 different areas gives students flexibility of starting and completing a program anytime, anywhere (www.keene.edu/conted/gatlin.cfm).
With on-campus classes at night, on weekends, and during the day, Continuing Education at Keene State College helps you advance in your career, keep pace with changes in the workplace, enrich your life, earn a college degree, or have fun as a family by taking a course together. Classes range in length from a semester to a weekend to a single evening. Credit and noncredit classes are offered.
