KSC Offers Two Noncredit Courses for the College Bound

KEENE, N.H. 5/31/06 - Keene State College’s Continuing Education and Extended Studies offers two short noncredit courses for anyone thinking about college.

Back to School: Tips for Adult Learners Returning to College (NCPP-290-N13C) is designed for adults interested in attending college for the first time or returning to college after an extended absence. Among topics covered are college routines, credit for life experience, financial aid processes, and learning styles. The course meets Wednesdays, June 7-21, 6-8 p.m. and costs $75.

What to Expect When You Go to College (NCPP-290-N5C), a four-week course, helps high school students learn skills for success in college. Time management, academic success strategies, campus activities and involvement outside the classroom, and building blocks for future success are among topics discussed. This class meets Tuesdays, July 11-August 1, 4-7 p.m. and costs $150.
