Rigorous treatment of Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometries. Synthetic, analytic, and transformational approaches. Axiomatic systems, parallel postulates, congruence, similarity. Incorporates the historical development of geometry and the use of geometry software. Prerequisite: Grade C or higher in MATH 220 or MATH 225 or MATH 270. Fall.
