Educator Preparation Office
The Educator Preparation Office collaborates with educator preparation academic programs, placement sites, and state and federal agencies. We work to ensure a successful educator preparation experience for each student. These School-Collaborations help to ensure a successful educator preparation experience for each student that meets certification requirements and state, regional, and national accreditation standards.
Enrolled Students come to the office for resources on program progression and the Decision Points, testing support and registration, application materials, and certification information.
The Educator Preparation Office also supports and has resources for our Cooperating Professionals.

The Educator Preparation Office Staff consists of:
Emily McGuiness, Educator Preparation Compliance and Licensure Coordinator
Focuses on educator preparation testing (resources, support, and registration) and licensure (data, information, and support) requirements. Focuses on overseeing the KSC’s state and national processes and policies related to student progression and Tk20 clinical placement assessment support.
TBD, Educator Preparation Placement and Partnership Coordinator
Focuses on the clinical experience in our educator preparation programs, including building partnerships and clinical placements in our area schools.
Theresa Adams, Administrative Assistant
Focuses on Admission to Educator Preparation processes, Standardized test registration support, cooperating professional payment processes, and administrative support for the state criminal background check process.
