COMMUNITY PROGRAMS: “Introduction to Ethiopian Music” open workshop during the 2013 KSC Biennial Symposium (Nov. 6): a discussion of Ethiopian history and broad introduction to Ethiopian musical styles, including vocal, folk, modern, jazz, brass band, and pop, with listening examples. Post-show meet-and-greet and reception with the artists.
