Music Department Events

There are more than 40 events planned by the Music Department during the 2013-14 academic year, following are some of the highlights.

KSC Chamber Singers, the Chamber Singers of Keene, and the Choir from Einbeck, Germany (Keene's sister city) will perform Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Alumni Recital Hall. A 7 p.m. lecture will precede the concert. FREE ADMISSION.

KSC Jazz Ensemble, directed by Don Baldini
, will perform jazz, big band and swing favorites on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Theatre. Tickets: $10 & $5, $5 KSC students Buy Ticket

Day of Percussion, the Percussive Arts Society's all day event of masterclasses for percussion students, will conclude with a 7:30 p.m. concert on Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Main Theatre. The KSC Percussion Ensemble concert will feature Rob Patterson, director of the American Modern Ensemble, and KSC faculty member Marcia Lehninger. Tickets: $10 & $5, $5 KSC students Buy Ticket

Harmony of Steel Dance on Friday, March 28, at 7 pm. in the Mabel Brown Room of the Student Center.

The KSC Concert Band with guest conductor Glen D'Eon will perform on Thursday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Theatre. Tickets: $10 & $5, $5 KSC students Buy Ticket

Inuksuit, an outdoor percussion concert, will include performers from KSC, other colleges, and New York City, on Friday, May 2, at 2 p.m. around Brickyard Pond. FREE ADMISSION.
