Ashuelot Concerts presents the Samara Piano Quartet in a program of Piano Trios by Beethoven, Brahms & Mendelssohn. Beethoven’s Op.1 Piano Trio in C minor was so radical Haydn advised him against publishing such a bold new work but it paved the way for towering achievements of both Mendelssohn (Op.49) & Brahms (op.87).
