From Steve Spiegel, Global Education Office:

During this past spring 2017 semester Keene State College hosted a dozen exchange students. The students arrived to the U.S. from Belarus, Egypt, England, Japan, Pakistan, and Ireland. This semester to enhance the student’s experience and understanding of the New England culture each student was paired with a host family. The host families, a faculty or staff member, volunteered to host one or two student(s). The host families and the students took part in a variety of activities. The activities ranging from sharing a home cooked meal or going out for pizza from attending a little league baseball game to a Red Sox game or from going kayaking to snowmobiling and from hiking the local forestry to walking around Brattleboro. The experience was overwhelmingly a positive one for both the hosts and students.

Many thanks to the following people for hosting our exchange students this semester: Mary Feeney, Ashley Greene, Meg Henning, Allysha Hunter, Taneem Husain, Heather Jasmin, Heather McGreer, and Katharina Rooney.
