The Keene State College Department of Music continues its tradition of outreach and services to local music teachers and alumni by hosting the KSC Music Education Guest Lecture Series (MEGLS). Since 2009, the series has brought over 50 leading music education experts from across the United States to campus to present topics on best pedagogical practices in music classrooms. These lectures, sponsored by the Department of Music and our student chapters of the National Association for Music Education, and the American Choral Directors Association, are open to campus and community members free of charge. The events are also offered as continuing education hours for in-service music educators.
