Rodger Martin Wins Literary Arts Guild's Poetry Contest

Poet and Lecturer in Journalism Rodger Martin’s poem, “After listening deep in the summer woods of southwestern New Hampshire to Henry Gorecki’s Third Symphony” took first place in the fourth annual Poetry Contest conducted by the Literary Arts Guild of the Center For the Arts, Lake Sunapee Region.

Martin will read his poem at the CFA Literary Arts’ First Friday presentation, “Poetry Born from Music,” on Friday, April 10, at the Lake Sunapee Protective Association’s Knowlton House in Sunapee Harbor. The event begins at 5 p.m.
