The Outstanding Women of 2014 with Pres. Anne Huot
The Outstanding Women of 2014 with Pres. Anne Huot

Each March, as part of the campus celebration of Women’s History Month, Keene State College recognizes the diverse accomplishments of outstanding women. If you know an outstanding woman (or women!) who has made significant contributions to the campus, community, and state of New Hampshire, we want to know about her. The theme for the 2015 National Women’s History Month is “Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives.” With this theme in mind, we will celebrate the courage and ingenuity of women who support and share women’s voices within and beyond their communities. The awards will connect women’s various achievements on a local and regional level with those of women nationwide.

Awards are given in four categories: KSC student, KSC faculty or staff member, greater Monadnock Region, and the state of New Hampshire. The nominee’s contributions, in addition to celebrating, supporting and sharing women’s voices, might include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Leadership/Courage
  • Innovation/Creativity
  • Advocacy/Mentoring
  • Promotion of diverse voices

The 2015 Outstanding Women of New Hampshire Awards will be held on March 25th, so please submit your nominations by 4:30 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2015. Please use our online form or contact the President’s Office, Attn: OWNH 2015, 229 Main Street, Keene, NH  03435-1504.
