Statement on Kansas City Shootings
As the eve of Passover is almost upon us, Christians are entering into Holy Week, and the world pauses to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, we are saddened by the news of the attack on the Jewish community in Kansas City. Let us take a moment this week to remember the targets of atrocity and renew our duty to witness in order to confront antisemitism, bigotry, and hate. It is in remembering that we find the strength for Tikkun Olam (to repair the world).
