KEENE, N.H., 09/12/07 - Course offerings through Continuing Education at Keene State College are built around making it easy for you to take classes.

Designed to help you advance in your career, keep pace with changes in the workplace, enrich your life, earn a college degree, or have fun as a family by taking a course together, the Continuing Education program offers on-campus classes at night, on weekends, and during the day.

Some classes are a semester long while others are as short as a single evening or a weekend. Both credit and noncredit classes are offered. Essentials of Human Resource Management, Job Hunting Do’s and Don’ts , Project Management, and Building Highly Effective Teams are among noncredit courses focusing on professional development. Personal advancement is the theme of other courses, including Overwhelmed by Stuff? and Unleashing Your Creativity. Simple massage techniques for individuals and couples, Yoga and Journaling, and Healthy Eating with Raw Foods focus on wellness. The program also has classes specifically designed for families to take together.

For distance learners, online courses and certificate programs are available.

Through ed2go, Keene Sate offers noncredit online classes running for six weeks. Starting once a month, each course involves two lessons per week. Most cost $95 each. For more information or to enroll in an ed2go course, visit www.ed2go.com/keene.

An online certificate program in 47 areas - from Business, Construction/Automotive Technology, and Healthcare to Video Game Design and Development - can be started and completed anytime and anywhere (www.keene.edu/conted/gatlin.cfm).

The Continuing Education program also offers a distance-learning program specifically for educators. Fully accredited classes combining CD and Internet-based learning begin when you want.
