Keene State Announces New Summer Program for Children
KEENE, N.H. 3/23/06 - Keene State College’s Continuing Education and Extended Studies debuts Kids on Campus, a new program for children entering the first through eighth grades.
Combining fun and learning, Kids on Campus runs for two weeks, June 26-30 and July 10-14.
Rubber band rockets, book illustration, computers, designing web pages, magic, painting, film criticism, and cooking, are among 31 sessions. Sessions, running a half day, either 9 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m., are taught by teachers from local schools, KSC faculty, and other experts. Sessions are geared to first through fourth graders and fifth through eighth graders.
The weekly cost is $150/half day; $250/full day. Students receive a free tee- shirt.
