Out & About

Elliot Center - Room 229
Friday, · -

Out & About is a group for LGBTQ+ students, staff, and faculty of Keene State College. The purpose of this group is to build community across campus, generations, and identities.

This month, we will be holding a story share. A story share is an opportunity for participants to share true stories from their lives that fit within the given theme. The theme for this story share is “There’s No Place Like Home.” Feel free to interpret this as literally or figuratively as you wish.

As LGBTQ+ individuals, home can have some hard or negative connotations or serve as a place of refuge from the larger world, and may or may not be the place where you grew up or sleep at night. Whatever and wherever home is for you can help you determine what story you want to share.

Try to keep your stories around 5-7 minutes to allow many people to be able to share their stories. Lastly, if you do want to tell a story, there will be sign-ups at the event to create an order.

Bring your lunch and join the fun!

This event is sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Student Support and Success at Keene State College.
