Looking for the “We” in the ISP
Integrative learning is a framework for teaching and learning in all ISP courses and a summative learning outcome for the Program. But how do we create opportunities for our students to integrate learning—within the curriculum, between the curriculum and the co-curriculum, and with communities beyond the classroom?
The ISPC invites faculty and staff to an integrative learning collaboratory. We want to explore ideas for integrating lower- and upper-level courses, building parallel courses or course sequences that bring faculty and students together, or addressing ISP and/or college-wide learning outcomes through concurrent or sequenced courses, academic and co-curricular collaboration, team-teaching.
Bring yourself and bring a colleague. We welcome members of working groups on campus who have been imagining new models for ISP collaborations, including academic and co-curricular groups, college-wide learning outcome representatives, the Center for Creative Inquiry (CCI), Living Learning Communities (LLCs), the Open Pedagogy Learning Community, and the Writing and Thinking Learning Community. We also welcome individuals and groups interested in designing new intellectual and curricular pathway for students.
Thank you for sending an RSVP to the Director of the ISP, Mark Long, at mlong@keene.edu by May 1 so we can order an appropriate amount of lunch.
This event is part of the End of Year Faculty & Staff Enrichment calendar.
