"Moose: Life of a Twig Eater" Film Showing

Redfern Arts Center - Putnam Theater
Thursday, · -

Moose populations are in dramatic decline in portions of their southern range, in part because many newborn moose calves are no longer surviving their first year. This hour-long PBS Nature documentary takes us deep inside the world of moose for an intimate look at a calf’s first year of life. Following the film, Mark Ellingwood, Wildlife Division Chief with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, will be on hand for a brief discussion of the past, present, and future of moose in New Hampshire. 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Putnam Theater at Keene State College.
