Jim Chesebrough directs the KSC Concert Band.

The Keene State College Concert Band presents “Three Centuries of Sounds” in the Redfern Arts Center on Thursday April 20, 2017 at 7:30 PM in the Main Theatre. Dr. Jim Chesebrough and assistant conductors, Hailley Dufresne, Joseph Conti, and Callie Carmosino, along with Guest Alumni Conductor Lauren Casey, will lead the ensemble in a program featuring over three centuries of music for winds, brass, and percussion. The evening features Keene State trumpet professor, Seelan Manickam, in a performance of the first movement of Kent Kennan’s Sonata for Trumpet and Wind Ensemble. The band will reprise their performance of For Whom the Bell Tolls by Keene State professor Heather Gilligan, and the music of Henry Purcell, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Percy Grainger, Morten Lauridsen, and Frank Ticheli will also be performed.
