NHDI presents the 2016 Event of the Year -- The 30-Year Letter on Friday, May 27 at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 28 at 1:30 & 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 29 at 1:30 p.m.
In honor of New Hampshire Dance Institute's 30th anniversary, we have been inspired to recollect on the many ways that we have utilized diverse forms of communication to build community over the years. As an organization, we were born from and now thrive on the connections that NHDI has made within Keene, throughout the surrounding Monadnock region, and far beyond to national stages, sharing a common vision of children experiencing the performing arts as a vital component of their school days.
The 2016 NHDI Event of the Year -- The 30-Year Letter -- weaves a narrative about an extraordinary piece of correspondence that takes 30 years to reach its final destination. The mail carrier journeys with the audience from 1986-2016, voyaging the globe in persistent search for the letter's recipient. It is a vibrant and powerful message of communication, connection, community and, most of all, CELEBRATION, with plenty of surprise guests and memorable cameo appearances that are, in the end, quintessentially NHDI.
