What’s a pronoun? A Conversation about Grammar, Identity, and Respect

Wednesday, · -

Each year on the third Wednesday of October, International Pronouns Day seeks to make respecting, sharing, and educating about personal pronouns commonplace. Referring to people by the pronouns they determine for themselves is basic to human dignity. In this spirit, Coordinator of LGBTQ+ Student Support Hunter Kirschner will speak on Instagram Live at 4:00 pm about the significance of International Pronouns Day, how pronouns work, and why pronouns are an important way to respect someone's identity. Join him as he shares his experience and insights about how this part of speech impacts the lives of transgender and gender-nonconforming people. Please join us on Instagram Live on the @KeeneStateCollege account.
