SSH Seminar: Tales from the Grove: Olives in Japan?

Dr. Richard Blatchly presents: Olives and olive oil are linked in our minds with the Mediterranean region, but they grow in many other places. This presentation will give the background of the science behind the production of olive oil and the steps taken by Japanese producers to overcome some of the severe challenges in producing high quality olive oil, including one that won the “Best in Class Olive Oil” in 2015.
