Berklee India Ensemble

85 Million hits. Musicians from 49 countries. Indian music in all its forms. What started out as a class at Berklee College of Music in 2011, has become one of the hippest new global acts that has emerged from Boston: The Berklee Indian Ensemble. The ensemble has gathered acclaim through their high profile collaborations with the likes of A.R. Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, and Shreya Ghoshal as well as their videos. They bring to fore a new Indian sound that melds classical, folk, Sufi, and contemporary Indian music with influences ranging from hip-hop and jazz to Middle Eastern and African flavors.

This event is part of the RAC Community calendar and is open to the public.
