DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Keene State College Music Department Faculty &
  Guest Recital Series featuring CONCORA\, Connecticut's acclaimed professi
 onal 24-voice choir and 12-piece chamber orchestra under the direction of 
 Chris Shepard\, joined by the Keene State’s Concert Choir\, directed by 
 Sandra Howard with community choir singers from the Monadnock region.\nThe
  performance will feature the New Hampshire premiere of Geoffrey Hudson's 
 "A Passion for the Planet". At a time when the daily news can feel overwhe
 lming\, Hudson's sweeping oratorio offers something different: a vision of
  collective possibility. Blending scientific prose\, poetry\, and sacred t
 exts\, A Passion for the Planet gives voice to those who are already doing
  the difficult work of protecting watersheds\, restoring ecosystems\, pres
 erving habitats\, educating communities\, advocating for change\, and buil
