Rod leads the alumni engagement, development and constituent services teams, to build long-term engagement among alumni, parents, corporate and community leaders and campus partners.
Externally funded programs are designed to empower new leaders in education, the performing and visual arts, product design, social justice, the sciences, engineering technologies and entrepreneurship.
Rod has served in executive roles with leading domestic and international education and research enterprises, including “Brooklyn Poly” now at New York University and one of the world’s leaders in biomedical research, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory on Long Island in New York.
He has also led the development of a National Science Foundation research center site in partnership with industry and a community-based computer “hackathon” competition, as well as numerous partnerships to advance innovation. Before joining Keene State, he served as chief strategy officer at Drexel University’s College of Computing and Informatics.
Rod enjoys kayaking, photography, reading and writing.
